Elevating Conversations That Connect

Even though I've spoken to live audiences as large as 10,000 people, been on TV and radio since I was 8 years old, and traveled the world training leaders, CEOs, and pastors, what I am most proud of is what no one else was able to see--- my journey to self-acceptance. 

I spent much of my life trying desperately to fit into a culture that didn't accept me and was toxic to my self-esteem and sense of worth. I lived each day trying to prove to the world that I deserved to be here, that I really was good enough. Because the reputations of others rested on my shoulders, I hid my full safe and only shared my "safe" self. Just when I felt like giving up, something changed.

For years, I kept redecorating "the box" hoping that real change would happen. One day it hit me. The calling that had been chasing me finally caught my attention and I finally got it. I realized that I could change the box as much or as often as I'd like, but until I got out of it, I would be stuck and unhappy, no matter how much money I made or what I was able to accomplish.

I discovered the power of true, authentic self-acceptance, self-appreciation, and self-love. 

Today, as Las Vegas' voice of compassion, the desires I passionately pursued all of my life are being satisfied. When I fully embraced who I am, I was able to extend that care and compassion to others.
